Build Your Own Winter Wonderland

Town Square, 21 Dodge St.
Unleash your creativity!  There will be a variety of winter building supplies on-hand for you to create the coolest igloo, snow fort, or anything else you can dream up.  

Jingle Bell Trail
All Day
Start at the Town Square, 21 Dodge St.
Find five wooden jingle bells-first clue in the Town Square. Take a picture at the final bell and send it to Janesville’s Jolly Jingle Facebook page to be entered into prize drawing. 

Interactive StoryWalk®
All Day
Town Square (Start at the corner of W. Court St. & S. River St.)
Take a stroll reading There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell! At the end take a free jingle bell stick craft kit home to make (while supplies last). 

Trolley Rides
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Various stops throughout downtown
Hop on and off the trolley to get to all of the Jolly Jingle programs.


Stories with Santa and Mrs. Claus
10 a.m.
Tune in to a virtual meeting about life at the North Pole and hear Santa’s favorite Christmas story. Stop by the library (316 S. Main St.) to pick up a free craft kit.

Spice on Ice Skate Show
10-11:15 a.m.
Janesville Ice Arena, 821 Beloit Ave.
Ice skating show by the Janesville Figure Skating Club in conjunction with the Janesville Recreation Division. This is a U.S. figure skating sanctioned event.
Cost: Non-perishable food donation for ECHO and the Salvation Army

Winter Warm Up
11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Trinity Episcopal Church Ortmayer Hall, 419 E. Court St.
Enjoy homemade soup, hot drinks, and fresh bread. Visit with St Nicholas, the original Santa Claus. Plus, crafts and treats for the kids, and the Trinity and Friends Christmas Bazaar. 

Skate with Santa
11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Janesville Ice Arena, 821 Beloit ave.
Skate to holiday tunes with Santa! 
Cost: Free with Spice on Ice attendance, otherwise non-perishable food donation for ECHO and $2 skate rental (limited skates available)

Holiday Art Show & Sale
12-2 p.m.
Janesville Performing Arts Center Gallery, 408 S. Main St.
Come and view beautiful art by local artists and bring home that perfect piece for yourself or as a unique gift.  

Boys & Girls Club Hot Spot
2-6 p.m.
Boys & Girls Club, 200 W. Court St., Door 10
Boys & Girls Club of Janesville will have hot chocolate for sale as well as a warming center, bathrooms, carnival games, and coloring tables for families!

Stage One Presents A Christmas Carol

Janesville Performing Arts Center Main Theater, 408 S. Main St.
As old Ebenezer Scrooge falls asleep on Christmas Eve, three ghosts appear, each revealing to the miser his wrong doings in life and what will happen if he continues in his evil ways. 
$16 adults  $10 students

Cookie Creations
3:30-5:30 p.m.
Janesville Senior Center, 69 S. Water St.
Decorate your cookie on site or take it to go.  A cookie, frosting and sprinkles will be provided while supplies last.  Concessions for purchase; proceeds go directly to the Senior Center Board.

Holiday Light Show

Enjoy a spectacular walk through experience with more than one million lights! It is Janesville’s most beautiful outdoor family activity. Visit for tickets and details.

Admire decorated parade entries as they share holiday spirit, tunes, and treats!

Public Skate
8-10 p.m.
Janesville Ice Arena, 821 Beloit Ave.
Skate to holiday tunes and do the limbo with family and friends!  
Cost: $6 for youth/senior, $7 for adults (18+) + $2 skate rental or $24 for family rate (includes skate rental)
