Jingle Bell Trail
Start at the Town Square, 21 Dodge St.
Find five wooden jingle bells-first clue in the Town Square. Take a picture at the final bell and send it to Janesville’s Jolly Jingle Facebook page to be entered into prize drawing.
Take & Make Penguin Craft
Hedberg Public Library, 316 S. Main St.
Pick up a kit at the library to make an adorable penguin clothespin craft. All supplies are provided. Kits are first come, first served while supplies last.
Holiday Light Show
Rotary Botanical Gardens, 1455 Palmer Dr.
Enjoy a spectacular walk through experience with more than one million lights! It is Janesville’s most beautiful outdoor family activity. Visit rbgholidaylightshow.com for tickets and details.

Jingle Bell Hunt
Courthouse Park, 51 S. Main St.
Similar to an egg hunt, but with jingle bells! Hundreds of jingle bells will be dropped from a bucket truck Kids can scramble to find jingle bells and other surprises.
S’Mores and Cocoa at Town Square
Town Square, 21 Dodge St.
Join us at Town Square following the tree lighting. Watch the fireworks while you warm up with hot cocoa or roast a s’mores by one of the firepits.

Downtown Tree Lighting
Roth Pavilion, 51 S. Main St.
Celebrate the tree lighting in Downtown Janesville with remarks from City Manager, Mark Freitag and music by JPAC performers. After we light the tree, follow St. Nicholas and the Trinity Episcopal Church choir members as they carol to the Town Square to watch the fireworks.

Build Your Own Winter Wonderland

Unleash your creativity! There will be a variety of winter building supplies on-hand for you to create the coolest igloo, snow fort, or anything else you can dream up.

As old Ebenezer Scrooge falls asleep on Christmas Eve, three ghosts appear, each revealing to the miser his wrong doings in life and what will happen if he continues in his evil ways.
